Sunflower Summer

more from the photo archive...  these were taken in Tupelo, Mississippi a few years back.  I love how people plant sunflower fields to attract doves in the early fall with their seeds.  That also means that there are always sunflowers for sale on every street corner all summer long. 

Mural Walk of Phillie

Last summer I took a great road trip from NC to Providence, stopping in Philadelphia, New York City and Brooklyn on the way.  Philadelphia has an amazing Mural Walk that takes all over the city, through neighborhoods and giving you a glimpse of this city brimming with street art.
