Personal Style Sunday

Happy Holidays all!  Great weekend with friends and family and boyfriend.

Here are some shots from the last couple of weeks, friends and me, just everyday style shots.

Found this amazingly warm coat with a fur collar at the thrift store for $8, then spent $15 on the buttons, worth it!

Found cashmere silk black sweater tunic (remade to fit with kangaroo pocket), second hand sheer skirt, thrifted brown leather boots from the Savers in Providence, RI, handmade scrap leather and fresh water pearl earrings, raw silk scarf from Thailand.

I've spotted just these two guys in Carrboro, always keeping an eye out for more!  I love the wheat pasted pieces of art work!

The drawing styles are very different, I can't tell if it's the same artist or not, but I think not.

This story is really inspiring.  Gray Pepper Vintage is wonderfully styled. Planning photo shoots is so much fun but very challenging for me.  I love how Nicole Warne styles and models her picks.

I absolutely love this birthday cake!!  I've never been big on cakes/celebrations of birthdays, but this would be worth it!
Below are some photos I took at Kiddy Land, Harajuku, Tokyo in March 2010.  It's a 6 floor kiddy wonderland with each floor dedicated to it's own thing.  I think it's the 4th floor that is all things wonderfully Giburi.

Sexy Sweet Flannel Undies

I got the idea to make these flannel undies (with back pockets!!) from an old episode of Threadbanger.  You can see it below and visit the original designer, Clare Bare.  I love this project that I started last winter, I can't wait to finish it all and show them to you!
